  • find residue 614 on a crystal / cryo-EM structure of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein
  • using NCBI Virus, find sequences of SARS-CoV-2 from non human species. Then download the FASTA and place it onto a phylogenetic tree using UShER.bio to see whether there has been a single outbreak or multiple into this species.
